The THINKCAR THINKSCAN 689BT Pro is the standalone Pro model for workshops and demanding diagnostic work. In addition to full-system diagnostics, ECU coding and bidirectional tests, it expands the 689BT platform with control-unit topology, J2534 Pass-Thru and AI-assisted repair guidance. The Pro version is identifiable by its gold-coloured, magnetically attached J2534 VCI.

J2534 and compatible OEM software
THINKCAR lists tests with Toyota Techstream, Honda HDS, Volvo VIDA, ODIS, BMW ISTA, Ford IDS/FDRS, Subaru SSM4, GM GDS2, wiTECH 2.0, Mercedes-Benz XENTRY and Jaguar Land Rover SDD. OEM software, manufacturer accounts, licences, subscriptions and any required gateway activation are not included and must be obtained separately if needed. J2534, gateway and coding functions depend on the vehicle, control unit, region, OEM approval and software version.
