1) Controller and contact details

Because the company operates globally, data may be processed in the UAE and, where required for direct delivery, by authorised supply and shipping partners in China. Where the GDPR applies, transfers to third countries use a permitted legal basis and appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards.

2) Data collected when you visit the website

We process the page visited, date and time, transferred data volume, referral source, browser, operating system and IP address required to display and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in stability, security and functionality. We use SSL/TLS encryption.

3) Cookies

We use session and persistent cookies to provide store functions, remember settings, analyse use and, with consent, personalise advertising. Processing is based on contract performance, consent or legitimate interests as applicable. You can manage or reject non-essential cookies through the consent settings and your browser; some functions may then be restricted.

4) Contact, chat and reviews

When you contact us, we process the information supplied to handle your request or perform a contract. Live-chat services may include Smartsupp (smartsupp.com, s.r.o., Brno, Czech Republic) and Superchat (SuperX GmbH, Berlin, Germany). Review reminders may be sent through ShopVote/Blickreif GmbH only with the required consent. Data-processing agreements protect visitor data.

5) Customer accounts, orders and delivery

Account and order data are processed to manage purchases, payments, invoices, delivery, support and legal retention duties. The necessary name, delivery address and, where needed, phone number are shared with selected delivery partners. For direct delivery, authorised partners in China may receive the minimum data required to fulfil the order.

6) Marketing and availability messages

Email newsletters, WhatsApp messages, availability alerts and review reminders are sent only on the applicable legal basis. Where consent is required, a double opt-in or equivalent confirmation is used. You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time for the future.

7) Payments, analytics and third parties

Payment providers process the data necessary to complete the selected payment method under their own privacy notices. Analytics or advertising services are used only as permitted and, where required, after consent. Third-party links are governed by the privacy policies of their operators.

8) Retention and your rights

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the stated purpose or legal duties. Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent for the future. 16. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our online store. The service allows us to analyse behavioural metrics, create heatmaps and view session recordings.

Clarity may process page and DOM data, clicks, scrolling and mouse movements, browser window size, device, browser, performance and error information, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. Entries in sensitive fields are masked.

Shopify passes your consent choice to Clarity. If you consent to analytics cookies, Clarity may use cookies and link usage across sessions. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings.

If you do not consent, Clarity does not set cookies. Limited cookieless measurement of an individual page view and interactions within that page may nevertheless take place. A new identifier is created for every page view and does not permit persistent attribution across pages or sessions.

To the extent that the GDPR applies, processing based on your consent relies on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The limited cookieless processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in detecting and addressing technical problems, misuse and barriers to using the store.

We and Microsoft each act as an independent controller for our respective processing activities. Microsoft may use the data to provide, improve and secure its services and, where permitted by law, for advertising purposes.

Clarity retains session playback data for 30 days, click and heatmap data for 9 months, and flagged or favourite sessions for 9 months.

Data may be transferred to the United States. For this purpose, Microsoft relies, among other safeguards, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, additional protection mechanisms.
